Reni Mimura is an NYC-based maid cafe performer & cosplay artist. She sings the bubbly “Doraemon no Rumba” on my latest album Anime Love Hardcore 2. I recently had a chance to ask her a few questions. Here’s what she had to say!

Reni calls my fans Angels(*w*), and I always think about my angels.(^^)
The Angels are believing in Reni and waiting my new songs and shows.
So Reni is motivated by my angels’ energy and I call it ”Moenergy”(>w<)
Now, I am working on my new album, music video, performance and website!

“Moe” seems to be a theme in your work. Could you explain what “Moe” means to you?
“Moe” is an adjective.(*w*)
It is kind of ideal women’s style.
Moe people have feminine and adorable looking and sensible inside, shy but strong.
When you notice that you are healed by Moe, without thinking, you’ll say ”Moe~~(*0*).
What is your favorite anime or manga and why?
I like Chobits, Haruhi and Nana(^0^)
Because those anime characters look cute, nice dresses and have high energy(>w<)
Where can fans see you perform?
Basically Reni has monthly Maid cafe and show in NY Manhattan (^w^)
I will have daytime club events, Rave with Moe idols.
Reni promises teenagers can come this club events(*w*)
